Priorities… the Sauna =)

When friends come to visit and they have mad skills…some plans might change.

Because the spring nights were colder than we thought, we decided to start building a sauna – before anything else…

With a south-facing, beautiful view of the Serra d’Estrela, the little cabin is attached to the rocks and has no foundation.
It’s a wood frame, filled with insulation and covered in metal sheets from the outside…
On the inside, it has a vapor barrier and wood paneling on the walls.

Something to look forward to in winter, for sure! <3
